A bespoke wellness space with a custom sauna, Roman Steam Room, Snow Room and Experience Shower
We are developing a Private Luxury Wellness space within a contemporary residential complex in Limassol, Cyprus.
The concept combines several thermal wellness experiences into one architectural environment, bringing together natural materials, bespoke craftsmanship, professional wellness equipment and intelligent lighting.
The project is currently moving from design into implementation, with completion planned for 2027.

Bespoke Sauna with Polygonal Geometry
The centrepiece is a bespoke sauna for up to 8 people, designed around an expressive polygonal geometry.
Every interior cedar element is individually crafted, shaped and fitted by hand, creating a unique faceted architectural composition. Custom benches and backrests are integrated into the geometry of the sauna.
The sauna is equipped with a HUUM heater, a bespoke suspended water-delivery mechanism and an intelligent starry sky ceiling.
The lighting system automatically adjusts brightness and colour temperature according to the surrounding natural light, creating different atmospheres throughout the day.
Panoramic Views over Limassol
Panoramic glazing opens the wellness space towards the cityscape of Limassol, visually connecting the interior with its surroundings.
A transparent partition between the sauna and Roman Steam Room maintains visual continuity while providing functional separation between the two thermal environments.
Roman Steam Room
The Roman Steam Room combines natural onyx, microcement and bespoke Sommerhuber ceramics with an oval table designed for soap massage rituals.
The space is equipped with a professional EOS steam generator and integrated aroma system.
Sommerhuber — Ceramic Manufactory Steyr 1491 — brings more than 530 years of ceramic-making tradition, combining craftsmanship with contemporary technology.
The result is a contemporary interpretation of the Roman Bath ritual, centred around steam, warm ceramics, natural stone and aromatherapy.
Snow Room
The bespoke Snow Room provides a contrasting cold experience following the sauna and steam room.
Panoramic glazing connects it visually with the rest of the wellness environment, while sculpted artificial rock surfaces create the atmosphere of a natural snow cave.
Together, the heat of the sauna, humid warmth of the steam room and cold of the Snow Room create a complete thermal circuit.
WDT Experience Shower
A dedicated zone features an Experience Shower by WDT — Werner Dosiertechnik.
More than a conventional shower, it is designed as a multisensory experience combining water, light, sound, aroma and temperature.
It acts as a transition between the thermal zones and forms an integral part of the overall wellness journey.
One Integrated Wellness Experience
The project is designed as a continuous thermal sequence:
Heat → Steam → Experience Shower → Cold → Relaxation
Rather than a collection of individual facilities, the sauna, Roman Steam Room, Snow Room and Experience Shower form one private wellness journey, fully integrated into the residential architecture.
Bespoke Design & Implementation
Every element is developed specifically for the project, from concept and technical design to material selection, custom fabrication, equipment integration, installation and commissioning.
The project combines architectural design with specialist wellness expertise to create a bespoke private SPA in Limassol, where technology, craftsmanship and natural materials work together as one environment.
