From an empty room to a fully finished private wellness space.

This custom sauna was designed and built specifically for a private residence in Limassol, Cyprus. The concept combines natural solid wood, Himalayan salt slabs and carefully integrated sauna technology to create a warm and personal space for relaxation.

From an Empty Room to a Bespoke Sauna

The project started with a completely unfinished room. Rather than adapting a standard sauna cabin to the space, we designed the interior from scratch around the architecture of the room and the client's requirements.

The walls and ceiling were finished in solid natural wood, while the benches were individually designed and built to create a comfortable multi-level seating area.

Natural Materials at the Centre

Natural materials define the character of the sauna.

The Himalayan salt slabs add a distinctive wellness feature, while a large table made from a solid wood slab brings another unique element into the interior.

Small details were also designed around the sauna experience. Dedicated niches on both sides provide space for sauna herbs and aromas, keeping them accessible while becoming part of the overall design.

EOS BlackRock & Smart Home Technology

At the heart of the sauna is the EOS BlackRock heater, selected to complement both the performance requirements and the visual character of the space.

The sauna uses EOS Emotec D controls and an integrated EOS aroma system. The controls are also connected to the home's KNX smart home system, bringing the sauna into the wider home automation environment.

The result is more than a sauna installation.

Every major element — from the solid wood interior and custom benches to the Himalayan salt slabs, wood slab table, aroma niches and EOS technology — was designed as part of one cohesive space.

A private sauna that feels like a natural extension of the home, rather than a separate prefabricated cabin.
